Day 3 Ntsikeni to Masakala

Early morning navigation not a problem with all this lights
And up we must go
The cow getting hot
And Gert having the time of his life
Buying Coke at one of the local shops

This day started better for I had 3 pairs of sock on........no frostbite this time. The day started with the most amazing scenery.

Today was a bit better for there was no Hella Hella or Rooi pad awaiting us. Just the normal climbing and pushing. It was a 10 hour day with a lot of fun. Plenty of downhill as well. We sow the white frozen tops of the Drakensberg sticking out.........soon we will be there.

Then of course before we encounter the big climb out of the porthall we decided to get rid of all the warm cloths for we gonna work now........and we did ya. Pierre guided us thru the porthall with no problems.

And then we stopped at Glenn Edwards for some lekka soup an Gert had a swing in the birds feeding bin. He had the time of his life.

We stopped along the way for some ice cold coke at a hidden shop that David remembered from his previous rides. Thanks David......that was a life saver.

And then again back to climbing an lekka downhills. Fantastic.
Tonight we are staying at Masaka....a wonderful guest house in the village. Awesome.

So now its off to a lekka slaap and then up again tomorrow.

Lekka slaap almal.
